Warranties, durability and maintenance
The roof durability depends on many factors, the most important of which is the quality of cane and quality of materials used to fix it, as well as the tract slope and number of holes. The cane coverings last 60 to 80 years on average. Many roofs can be found, where the age of cane exceeds 90 years. We have once encountered a leak-tight cane roof, which was over 120 years old.

The parts of the roofs, such as hollows, combs, sills, shaded parts, chimney featherings can be worn faster, especially when they are in a constant shade. These are the placed where molds and lichens appear, and they additionally shorten the lifespan of the covering. One can use chemical preparations in order to improve the quality of the covering and level the covering every few years by stomping the covering.

The maintenance is based mainly on correcting possible changes in places most vulnerable to atmospheric conditions. The most vulnerable places are combs, chimney featherings and sills.

The warranty we use for our materials covers a period of 15 to 20 years.
